Our trees were grown by Frank Barick who has a Masters Degree in Forestry from the New York State College of Forestry at Syracuse University. He began planting Christmas trees five years prior to his retirement from the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission where he served as the Chief of the Game Division and later Chief of the newly created Environmental Division.

We have a selection of trees 3' to 15' tall for homes and commercial use, with a  price range of $15 to $70. Our trees are organic; we do not use chemicals or sprays on the trees. Some of the trees have not been shaped, but upon request, we will provide additional shaping/shearing of our home grown trees to make the tree perfect for you.

No new trees have been planted since 2009 since Frank was getting up in years. Since Brad has only recently taken over the operation of the farm, he has been very busy thinning out the trees which have become overgrown for Christmas trees and there has been no time for planting new trees. The current plan is to start planting several hundred new trees each year beginning in February 2017.

We have a great selection of high quality Fraser Firs ranging in size from 6.5 to 9.5 feet tall. Frasers are priced at approximately $8-$9 per ft.  Since Fraser Firs do not grow in this area, they are shipped in from Sparta, NC. The Frasers are very fresh and have only been cut within the past week.
Our mission is not just to sell trees, but to provide a fun-filled outing for the family. Bring the children and let them romp among the trees.  But, please warn them to be careful and watch out for tree stumps so they don’t fall.

Hours of operation are:  11- 5 Tues, Weds. and Thurs.,  9-5 Fri., Sat. and Sun.  We are closed on Mondays.
